Hi, I am currently an applied scientist at AWS AI lab where I work on building RAG system and user alignment of foundation models at Amazon Bedrock.

I obtained my Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin, advised by Professor Greg Durrett and Eunsol Choi. My dissertation is about building modular and robust question answering systems. My favorite work during my Ph.D. includes detecting short cuts in multi-hop question answering systems, building verifiable QA systems by sub-part alignment and NLI, building explainable and verifiable fact-checking systems through decomposition.

I finished my undergraduate study at Fudan University. I also received a master degree from Fudan where I was advised by Professor Xuanjing Huang, Qi Zhang, and Xipeng Qiu.
